: The rooms were lovely, with traditional but simple decor. This felt like a special place to be staying, and was not a generic hotel in any way. Breakfasts were served in generous portions, with great variety, in a pleasant courtyard setting. We all chose different things each day and were never disappointed. Location was very convenient to the zocalo, while still being on a quiet street.
: We are very particular about our coffee. The coffee at breakfast was OK but not exceptional. This is really the only thing I can recall that I would have wanted to improve. It's a very minor point.

: Great bed. Staff helpful. We booked for 2 nites under different names, but they made sure we had the same room for both nites. Appreciated the ambience of the 16 th cent building.

: - a lovely, small hotel with old world charm- beautiful public space on the second floor- gracious cleaning staff- hospitable front desk staff- we were a party of five, so we were able to book three rooms all together- the booking staff paid close attention to the number of beds needed, and size of beds for members of our party- good value for money- good restaurant for breakfast
: - if choosing to book here, request a room on the second floor to experience the beauty of the old world hotel- you may want to request a room on the inside of the hotel (not facing street) if you are noise sensitive

  : Location, price.
: No air conditioning! 88 degrees and the room never cooled off with fans only. Wouldn't have booked this hotel if I had known. I should have checked.
